Details

You’ve heard of endangered species in the wild, but how about on a farm? Get up close and personal with the endangered heritage breed livestock of Piscataway Park. You’ll meet cows, sheep, hogs, and poultry and discover the role they play in saving the planet and preserving biodiversity.

This program occurs every first Saturday of the month April-November 2023 and is geared towards both adults and children. The walking tour takes place outdoors and over uneven terrain and will last approximately 60-90 minutes.

Proceeds from this farm tour support the Accokeek Foundation's education programs and land conservation work in Piscataway Park.
