Too often, the focus is on what our youth are not doing instead of highlighting their many successes. The Maryland Association of Resources for Families and Youth (MARFY) believes that every young person has a purpose in life to fulfill. Part of helping youth attain success is to be encouraging during challenging times and uplift them when milestones are achieved. With the Annual Youth Achievement Awards, MARFY provides a platform to celebrate youth whose accomplishments include their fight against mental and behavioral health, trauma, or systemic barriers.
