Enjoy family-friendly fun at Old Bowie Celebrates! on Saturday, October 1, 11 am - 5 pm. Our 2nd Annual Festival features live music and dance on three sound stages--don’t miss performances from a variety of genres and cultures! Savor local and ethnic foods; shop artisans and crafters wares; appreciate the talents showcased in our art show; ride the mini-trackless train along the Heritage Trail; and revel in our medley of entertainers including magicians, a unicyclist, and a balloon comic. Engage your children in hands-on cultural activities, earning them stamps in their festival “passports” and a prize.
Our festival spans 12th St. & Chestnut Ave., to Maple Avenue at 9th Street. Free parking at Rockledge Elementary School (off Rt. 197) with a free shuttle to and from the festival. Co-sponsored by the Old Bowie Arts & Heritage Committee and the City of Bowie.
