Join the Green Team at the Senior Center to grow some basil, oregano, and tomatoes to assemble your very own "Pizza Container Garden."
This event will start with a short lecture about growing plants in containers and the importance of pollination. After the lecture, preregistered participants will be helped as they plant their herbs and tomatoes in the provided containers. Participants will be able to take home their container gardens.
Those who wish to participate must preregister at the Senior Center as supplies are limited. Those who are not registered are welcome to join for the short lecture portion about plants and the importance of pollinators but will not receive plants or supplies to make a garden.
