Potomac River Jazz Club Free Zoom Jazz Talk
    Monday June 24th 2024 7:00-8:30pm

For our next Zoom Talk About Jazz, join us at 7pm on June 24 for a fabulous presentation on the reasons why jazz first developed in New Orleans. We’ll hear about the unique aspects of New Orleans history and culture that brought jazz to life in the Crescent City. Our presenter is musicologist and New Orleans Jazz Museum curator David Kunian. David has produced radio broadcasts for 30 years, has had a weekly radio show on WWOZ since 1993, and produced numerous documentaries about New Orleans artists.

This Zoom is presented by the Potomac River Jazz Club and is FREE, although we accept a donation at the time of registration to offset the cost of the jazz talks.

You must pre-register no later than 5pm the day of the program to receive the link by e-mail to join us!
