This Could Go Boom! Music + Culture Fest is an inaugural free event inviting participants to celebrate the rich musical history of the DMV with a focus on contributions from women and LGBTQIA artists. Offering a full day of multi-genre performances from National and local acts, vendors, artists, food trucks, and activities and preceded by a week of creative presentations, TCGB! Music + Culture Fest is sure to provide fun and community for all ages!
Headliners include: Speedy Ortiz, River Shook, and Crys Matthews. Weekday events include youth and family programs and literary events.
This Could Go Boom! is a nonprofit organization that supports gender diversity in music and strives for gender equity in music through record label services, professional development, community outreach, education, and performance opportunities for musicians and music industry workers whose genders have long been underrepresented, marginalized and excluded.
