  9. The holidays are always spectacular, but you can add to the drama by going to see the Cirque: Spirit of Christmas show at the National Harbor. This whimsical, Broadway-style musical has holiday cheer, and circus artistry rolled together in one dazzling performance.
  10. Sip on holiday teas on Saturdays in December at the Montpelier House Museum. Book a ticket ahead of time and enjoy a leisurely meal of finger sandwiches, pastries, scones, and two types of seasonal teas.
