    The present Oxon Hill Manor was built in 1929 by world-renowned diplomat Sumner Wells, who served under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The neo-Georgian structure, named after the colonial plantation house, was destroyed by fire in 1895. The Mansion is available for weddings, receptions, meetings, and other special events. The Mansion has a 300-person capacity for receptions.
